What are your services like?

Each weekend at Thrive Community Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. A printed outline for notes and a large-screen slide presentation help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children will be well-cared for in a safe, loving, quality nursery and fun-filled GROW Kids service.

What will happen on my first visit?

When you visit for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

What should I wear to service?

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Thrive Community Church is not about what you look like or what you wear.

Where are services held?

Port Orange Campus: In the auditorium of Spruce Creek High School, 801 Taylor Rd., Port Orange.

What about my children?

At Thrive, your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving (background-checked) volunteers. We offer a dynamic elementary age children’s ministry called THRIVE Kids. We encourage our teens to worship in the main service on Sunday as well as getting involved in the Dream Team, join a small group and attend the various Youth Ministry opportunities offered. How can I meet others and get connected?

There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track Classes. Small groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. You can connect with us by Clicking Here!

How will I be discipled and grow?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership.

Why do you have small groups?

Small Groups are an important part of Thrive; in fact, we feel you haven’t fully experienced our church until you’ve experienced it in our groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that spur your relationship with God. As Thrive grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.

How can I get involved in a small group ?

One of the easiest things you will be able to do at Thrive is to participate in a Small Group. Groups meet throughout communities and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there will be a group near you. You can find a group by Clicking Here!

What about my middle and high school kids?

We love our Thrive Students! Every Wednesday night from 6:30-8 PM we hold our High School and Middle School Night. You can get more information, by Clicking Here!

Do you have a statement of beliefs?

We sure do!  You can read our Statement of Faith by Clicking Here!
