The Dream TEam

The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them within the church. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Host Team, leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Children’s Ministry Team, crafting a dynamic experience with the Worship Team, tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group, or partnering with the Administration Team—we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.

This team is all about one thing: serving God by serving His people. If you desire a life filled with joy, growth, and community, we would love for you to join the team!

Serving is in the culture, the DNA, of Thrive. Dream Team members are passionate about the mission of bringing a dynamic, life-giving church to Port Orange. As we grow, our culture remains one of selfless service to God and His people. Protected and fostered by leaders who model servanthood, our church culture is one of strong relationships and continuous growth. As we grow, our aim is to build up the Body of Christ in our community and around the world.

[Jesus], being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

As our Dream Team grows with the growth of our church, we are continually aware that God will always continue to build His Church! One main goal for the Team is to create a community of care, acceptance, and warmth for all of our guests attending a worship experience. The team strives to maintain a community of support, encouragement, and prayer covering so that each member can be led to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We aspire to maintain a small group feel within each of our teams, realizing that for many, their service team is their small group. Through pre-service meetings, team appreciation parties, leadership development meetings, and more, we are cultivating the seeds of relationships.

They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…All the believers were together and had everything in common…Every day
they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the

We celebrate the wins, which happen when a person is spiritually mature, passionate, relationally connected and unified in Body of Christ — humbly serving in their passions, effectively advancing the Kingdom, worshiping God with every single act of service, and walking in complete fulfillment of their purpose.

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory.
